Amsterdam Ceramics is an exhibition dedicated to contemporary ceramics, bringing together exceptional artists and designers.
Recognising the richness of Amsterdam’s ceramic community, Amsterdam Ceramics establishes a platform where contemporary ceramics are celebrated, discovered, and connected with design and interior projects.
Set in the stunning Bagagehal of Loods6, the event offers a unique opportunity for visitors to experience the diversity, craftsmanship, and creativity of Amsterdam’s ceramic community.
By highlighting ceramics within the context of design and interiors, Amsterdam Ceramics aims to establish itself as a meaningful meeting point for artists, collectors, and design professionals — a place where contemporary craft and cultural innovation come together.
Artist application
Before You Apply
Amsterdam Ceramics is a platform for contemporary ceramics at the intersection of art and design. The event presents design objects, sculptural pieces, vases and other ceramic works created within artistic and design contexts. Participation is intended for professional ceramic artists and studios who are actively producing and presenting their work and have an established body of work to showcase. Our aim is to present a curated selection of high-quality and distinctive ceramic work, reflecting the diversity, craftsmanship and creative direction of contemporary ceramics in Amsterdam.
Solo Presentation
The Solo Presentation offers artists, studios and galleries a dedicated exhibition space within Amsterdam Ceramics.
This format is intended for established ceramic practices with a body of work that can be presented as a cohesive display. Participants are responsible for the design, plinths, furniture and other display elements required for their presentation.

Shared Exhibition
The Shared Exhibition brings together a curated selection of ceramic artists and designers in one collective presentation.
Each selected participant will present 3 – 5 works, allowing the exhibition to showcase a broad range of approaches to ceramics. The placement and presentation of the works will be curated and arranged by Amsterdam Ceramics as part of the collective exhibition.
